At St Luke’s our children develop a love of learning, are well motivated, enjoy themselves and take a pride in their school. They integrate well from our feeder preschool and when the time comes, are fully prepared for transition to secondary school. We value academic and personal success and all pupils are encouraged to fulfil their potential and develop their diverse range of talents. We build a strong community, which supports all pupils and is sustained by the excellent partnership with the church.

The Busy Bees have been busy indeed! In Science today, the children explored the fascinating world of trees learning all about the different parts of a tree and how to identify them. From bark to leaves, they were full of curiosity and wonder! To finish off a lovely afternoon of learning, we gathered in the cool shade to enjoy a story together the perfect end to a nature-filled day. #BusyBees #OutdoorLearning #ScienceInNature #StorytimeInTheShade

Helping Our Children Stay Safe on the Roads Staying safe on our roads isn't just a skill it's a lifelong habit. That's why it's so important to teach children how to navigate streets safely and confidently. From practising journeys together to helping them choose the safest places to cross, these early lessons can make a real difference. We're pleased to share that The National College, in collaboration with THINK!, has created a fantastic resource full of practical advice for parents and educators. It covers real-world risks like parked cars, reversing vehicles, and mobile phone distractions all designed to help young people travel more independently while staying safe. Let's work together to build safe habits that last a lifetime. #RoadSafety #ThinkSafe #LifelongLearning #KeepingChildrenSafe #IndependentTravel
